3 + 1 = FOUR

So yes.

Jedi Mama, Inc. shut down around here for a couple of days, but I promise!  We had us some fairly good reasons.

And by fairly good reasons, I mean this:

Do you see that little peanut?  Well, he was born on Monday, March 5th, and he is about an hour old in that snapshot.

And he belongs to us now.

Because OH YES, WE DID!  Hubs and I adopted the little fellow, and I don’t even have enough words to tell y’all how much we love him.  Or how much the boy loves him.  Or how hard I sobbed when I watched his birth.  Or how Hubs and I have to keep assuring ourselves that YES and INDEED!  We really ARE younger than Abraham and Sarah… and we’re even younger than Madonna.  And if those senior citizens can raise babies, then Hubs and I will have no problems whatsoever, because we are still young and hip and cool.

And also?  This little fellow has added a whole bunch of joy to our family, and we are plum smitten.

Smitten, I say.  And that word is defined as HEAD OVER HEELS IN LOVE WITH.

Someday soon, I’ll post the entire God-centered story of his adoption right here on the blog, but for now just know this one thing:  Hubs and I have TWO BOYS! And we can barely get over how wonderful it is to use that word as a PLURAL!

This little man is so stinking cute, Hubs and I have plum forgiven him for being awake ALL!  NIGHT!  LONG! for the first two nights that we have had him home with us.  And I don’t think that Hubs really meant it when he said, “Honey, get a really nice wicker basket, so that we can put this little man into it and leave him on the doorstep of the Catholic church for the nuns to find and raise.”

Hubs is hilarious.

And also incredibly sleep deprived.

But wow!  Did I mention the fact that SWEET MOSES!  THIS BABY IS ADORABLE AND SNUGGLY?  And did I mention the fact that being a family of four (FOUR!!) is the most amazing thing ever?  Hubs and the boy and I are downright tickled to have this little peanut.

Forever and ever.

Happy Thursday night, people.
