Three Words: Enormous. Photo. Dump.

Well.

We are smack in the middle of Birthday Week, because apparently we have adopted the philosophy that birthdays are a week-long marathon and not a one-day sprint.

Which is about to leave me in a little bit of a Birthday Coma.  Marathons are like that.

Between PIZZAS HERE and TACOS THERE and GOLFING NOW and THESE COUSINS and THOSE COUSINS and OUTDOOR MOVIES and FRIENDS, FRIENDS, FRIENDS, and MOM, THESE GUYS ARE STAYING THE NIGHT, I no longer even know what day of the week it is.

So next week?

We’ll have snapshots of all the birthday goings-on, because I have burned the camera up with all the pictures.

And tonight?  Well, tonight is going to be nothing more glorious than a photo dump.  I’m clearing the memory card, to make room for more birthday pictures, because the week of college-like partying isn’t over yet.  We still have more cake to come tomorrow night, and more kids to run wild through my yard, and Hubs and I have a couple more Lime-A-Ritas to sip on the deck, because we’re two-thirds of the way through the marathon.

So.

We went to the lake again last week.  Hubs and I loaded up our boys, and we met everyone on the beach again.  We had Jimmy John’s sandwiches again.  We had Birthday Cake Oreos again.  We like to stick with what works.

And I took three or four pictures.

So, in basically no words at all (because I still have the Happy Birthday song stuck in my head from earlier this evening, and I’m on a cake high, to boot), you can simply LOOK at what we did at the lake.

You’re welcome.

You’ve been spared from OH MY WORD!  THE WORDINESS THIS WOMAN CAN PARTICIPATE IN SOME DAYS!

So just give your mouse a little spin, and cruise on through the lake snapshots with the cousins.

The kids all got involved in a fast-paced game of Capture the Flag.  They chased one another, and they dodged tags, and they stole flags, and they cheered themselves on to victory.

They also played Chicken in the water.  We laughed and laughed, because their facial expressions and their smack-talk were hysterical!  I love the looks on all of their faces.

Naturally, the girls saw to it that Thing 2 had just as much fun as everyone else did in the water and on the sand.

There.

My camera’s memory card is officially empty, and I am off to bed.  I hear tale that the third leg of the birthday marathon requires the most energy, so I’m resting up.

Have a great weekend, people.
