Yesterday, the boys snuggled up together to watch a little sing-a-long-with-the-alphabet video.
Hubs and I don’t think it’s ever too early to start learning that B is for BALL, and C is for CHOCOLATE, and K is for KNOT.
I also don’t mean to be a bragger, but Thing 2 already knows the letter A and the short vowel sound it makes. And, although he can’t always identify the letter B, he knows that it says, “Buh, buh, buh.”
Next month, he’ll probably be building rockets for NASA.
The boys had moved on to something else entirely, which involved making dynamite out of empty soda bottles and dry ice.
Hubs doesn’t think it’s ever too early for a boy to learn the proper way to make explosives. Thing 2 has been ushered in on the finer points of when to fine-tune things, and when to just… you know… turn around and RUN AWAY FROM IT!
But I think they’re safer singing the letters of the alphabet together than they are making shopping lists for supplies they’re gonna need.
